The External Quality Audit at the NPUA

The external quality audit of the NPUA activity was held within the Erasmus+ TACEESM project. Two external EU experts visited the NPUA with the purpose to overview the activities that NPUA project team implemented during the period of the project.

Mr. Ruben Aghashyan, Head of Digital Technology R&D Center of NPUA, has presented the activities that have been done within each work package of the project.

Head of the NPUA Information Security and Software Development Department Mr.Gevorg Margarov presented the functionality of the Taceesm Online Platform developed by the NPUA team.

TACEESM 4th Info Day at NPUA

On Tuesday, May 2, the TACEESM 4rt Info Day took place at the Vanadzor branch of NPUA. The event was attended by over 50 participants, including bachelor/master students and professors from different universities, researchers and engineers from regional architectural and civil engineering companies, as well as visiting professors from the University G. D'Annunzio - Chieti-Pescara Filippo Angelucci and Andrea Di Cinzio.

Head of the NPUA Information Security and Software Development Department Gevorg Margarov briefly recalled the basic information about the TACEESM Project, with particular emphasis on the role of the NPUA in the Project, including development of Online Platform, and also presented the goals and objectives of the Info Day 4. Further Assistant Professor of the NPUA Information Security and Software Development Department Marine Usepyan presented the Online Platform with a detailed explanation of the principles of its use. In the wide and interested discussion that followed the presentations took an active part and answered many questions from the audience:

  • Head of the Information Security and Software Development Department at the NPUA Gevorg Margarov,
  • Assistant Professor of the NPUA Information Security and Software Development Department Marine Usepyan,
  • Director of the Vanadzor branch of NPUA Armen Kharatyan,

DISSEMINATION EVENT/ WORKSHOP

The first dissemination event of the TACEESM project, which was organized by Birch International University (IBU) as the leader of the 7th work package, aimed to discuss the future dissemination plans of the project, to enrich the already existing dissemination activities with new ideas that will increase the visibility of the project, as detailed in the agenda.

From 6 to 11 June, representatives of the project working groups from Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered in Sarajevo.

WORKSHOP MALAGA (WP4-T4)

A regular meeting of the TACEESM project was held in Malaga, Spain on April 18-23, 2022

The purpose of the meeting was to summarize the results of the project for a year and a half, planning a new stage. NPUA representatives presented the current state of the developed online platform, discussed the platform and made proposals on the functionality of the platform.

On the last day of the meeting, a team work was organized, where representatives of different countries developed their approaches to cooperation between universities and enterprises, ways of implementing joint internships, and organizing them through an online platform.

WORKSHOP 3

The Project WORKSHOP 3 was organized in hybrid form where one group of in-person attendees was connected online with other workshop attendees. Representatives of Slovenia, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia took part in the workshop's meetings on-site, and representatives of Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia online.

The event was followed by the four days of intensive meetings and discussions (25 Jan, 26 Jan, 27 Jan and 28 Jan2022) as presented in the agenda.

The 2nd working day of the event was dedicated to Activity 3.4 | Developing online platform that will be used for teaching process.

Gevorg Margarov, representative of the Co-lead organization of WP 3, NPUA, presented in detail the proposals on the main ideas, functionality, and structure of Online platform to be developed as a 1st Draft, including the platform development stages with appropriate time slots that can serve as the basis for adoption of a platform development plan.

On October 14, 2021, 16:00-17:00 The blended (Offline / Online) meeting is aimed at discussing approaches to the implementation of the Erasmus+ CA2 TACEESM Project at National Polytechnic University of Armenia with the objectives to increase capacity building for study in civil engineering education, including the modernization of existing and design of new courses according to Bologna requirements, as well as the development of on-line platform for teaching process and networking between industry and universities.

The TACEESM Project was presented during “Special Session on Digital Technologies in Erasmus+ Capacity Building Projects” of the workshop “Digital Technologies in Education and Management” at the 13th International Conference on Computer Science and Information Technologies, CSIT 2021, September 27 – October 1, 2021, Yerevan, Armenia

The event was attended by representatives of the National Erasmus+ Office in Armenia, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the Ministry of High Technology Industry, the Ministry of Economy, universities of Armenia, the NPUA administration, leading specialists and heads of IT companies, professors, students, as well as guests from foreign universities.
